My Bio
I was born on the West coast, naked and helpless unable to fend for myself and eventually acquired the skills to draw and paint well enough to make it on my own. I exhibits my work throughout the year from the East to the West coast. Holding in particular interests art, science, anything hi-tech and of course fantasy, I have been working professionally since 1990 and am currently running my own little studio incorporating digital matte painting, 3d modeling and traditional art techniques into my work.
I am a father of two, enjoy a good book, good beer and occasionally a good scifi/fantasy or Chinese action flick, gourmet tea and I'm abit of a foodie. I really enjoy new and exotic food made by an pro with love.
An avid reader and a fair cook, Alain lives in Oklahoma City with his family and two large red Dobermans with a penchant for pecans and bloody meat.

I've taken something of a break...from conventions and exhibitions...from illustration contracts and publications.
I've gone towards freelancing my 3D sculpting skills and entirely that for the better part of the last three years and especially this one.
I think...I'm pretty much done. I'm almost ready to start showing off the entirety of my next series...I actually started already but only digital renders, not the real thing.
Also starting next year...I'm going back to attending and exhibiting my work at conventions again. :)

Back from Project A-Kon in Dallas. I did very well..sold out of art.
I decided now is the time to pull back abit from the contract work and actually start the Steam Punk Carousel series I've been talking about for so long.

Last Day of August

Tomorrow is the last day of August and I look to see what I've done this year and still find myself lacking.
Starting next week I'll be a year older and haven't really accomplished what I set out for myself ten years ago.
I have made up my mind to stop taking commissions and contract work for the most part, stop attending any large convention or events and cut back on most of the smaller ones as well and get to work on projects I've been held or holding back from for the better part of a decade.
